I heard this story on my public radio station on my way home from work the other day. It's about a woman who took her 2-1/2-year-old niece to the Getty museum, and how the little girl jumped right in and found a way to relate to the art. What she says to the woman at the museum info booth is so cute.
That's what's so great about art museums, and kids: if you approach art with an open mind you're bound to make some sort of unique personal connection, and who has more of an open mind than a little kid?
