I am going to forward this link to all the teachers at my school. Students need to understand this! On a side note, to all my liberal friends and family out there, whether or not you liked Pres. Bush, this demonstrates why he isn't the only one to blame for the economic crisis. It was Senator Chris Dodd and Representative Barney Frank who reduced the amount of capital that banks had to have in order to make these loans-from $1 to every $10 lent to $1 to $30. In addition, they made laws requiring bankers to make these sub-prime mortgages in an effort to offer equal housing...It is NOT equal housing it's supposed to be Equal Housing Opportunity. This country was not founded on a principal of equal results, rather equal opportunity to work toward desired results. The direction our government has taken is just shy of socialism and balks at true capitalism. Now we see the results of it on our own soil. I could keep ranting...I just hope we can survive the next four years without complete economic meltdown.Sara Spinksnoreply@blogger.com
